Also contains all the minerals from 1/8 teaspoon Marine Minerals Liquid Ionic Trace Minerals (LITM), concentrated and dehydrated from Utah's Inland Sea, the Great Salt Lake.

Additional ingredients: Vegetable stearic acid and vegetable magnesium stearate. No added sugar, starch, or dicalcium phosphate. No artificial preservatives, or fillers. Contains no animal products. Coated with a natural vegetable cellulose coating. Ingredients are listed in approximate descending order. Immune Boost is a powerful blend of herbs, vitamins, minerals, and enzymes. It contains nutrients formulated to support a healthy immune system or boost a compromised immune system. Immune Boost can be used to fight symptoms of a cold or flu. It contains important antioxidants such as Vitamin C with Bioflavonoids, Vitamin A, and Coenzyme Q10, Herbs such as astragalus, goldenseal, echinacea, garlic and Shiitake mushroom are important for their nutritional values. Echinacea is beneficial for cols, cough, flu and other infectious illnesses. It is approved for the German Commission E for common cold, bronchitis, fevers and colds.

Oregon Grape Root is an herb that contains berberine and hydrastine, which are used to treat infections. Oregon grape root is used by herbalists to fight bacteria.

COENZYME Q10, an antioxidant similar to Viatmin E, stimulates the immune system and is helpful in slowing the aging process. Research has revealed the use of CoQ10 benefits allergies, asthma, and respiratory disease. It may help heal duodenal ulcers.

A special enzyme, Bromelain, is extracted from pineapple. This enzyme helps aid in digestion, provides cellular energy, and may assist in repairing cells, tissues and organs.

The mineral Zinc declines during physical stress. Zinc is necessary for the immune system to function properly. The thymus is full of zinc, which is necessary for cell division and protein synthesis. The thymus also secretes a zinc-dependent hormone, FTS, which is important for immunity.

Selenium has been shown to stimulate the immune system. Supplementation helps enhance T-cell responses, stimulates anti-body production, and reverses age-related cellular immunosuppression.

Magnesium has a significant effect on immunity. A deficiency interferes with the transmission of nerve and muscle impulses. This essential mineral also protects the lining off the arteries from stress caused by sudden blood pressure changes. Magnesium also helps maintain a proper pH balance.

Sulfate is a mineral that disinfects the blood, resists bacteria, and protects the protoplasm of cells. Because of its ability to protect against the harmful effects of pollution, sulfate slows down the aging process.

IMMUNE BOOST is an extraordinary blend of ingredients, and will support the immune system. It contains the nutrients necessary to battle the viruses and bacterium that constantly try to invade the body. All the ingredients stimulate and support the immune system and provide maximum protection.

This powerful formula should not be taken for more than eight weeks at a time. IT is not considered a daily supplement, but an "as-needed" supplement. If cold of flu symptoms appear, it is suggested to take two tablets every hour for 2-4 hours.

TIPS FOR BETTER HEALTH: Drink 6-8 glasses of water every day to stay hydrated, and to keep mucous membranes moist and more resistant to infection. Sufficient sleep, without prescription sleep aids, alcohol or drugs, allows the body to maintain a daily schedule. Use zinc gluconate lozenges at the first sign of an illness. Exercise 30 minutes daily, even in 10 minute increments. Exercise has been shown to stimulate the immune system. Avoid polyunsaturated vegetable oils, margarine all partially-hydrogenated-oils and -foods (fried foods), and foods containing transfat acids.
